renshaw2-th.jpg (10995 bytes) Contributions to the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace  tsunami relief efforts have passed the $1-million-mark "and that sum will likely double, at a minimum," says interim executive director Rev. Richard Renshaw.  That's because of a call from Canada's Catholic bishops urging every parish in the country to hold a special collection on Jan. 9, he said.

The 56-year-old former governor of Massachusetts and his wife will return to Boston after a four-year stint as the U.S. ambassador.

The second-highest was valued at $8.2 million.

A total of 407 teams from seven countries played  720 games in the four-day tournament that ended Jan. 2.
